Welcome to the 2012 Sartell SummerFest
Mayor’s 5k and Kid’s 1k Fun Run!

The 5k run/walk and Kid’s 1k fun run are back again this year. The fifth annual, family friendly event continues to grow in
popularity and we’re excited for this year’s turn-out. The 5k run/walk and Kid’s 1k are a great way to get out and promote
fitness and help support the Sartell - St. Stephen Community Education program. Once again, proceeds from the event
will go towards expanding recreational opportunities in the Sartell Area for persons of all ages.

The walk will begin at 5:30 pm and the 5k race at 6:15 pm. The kid’s 1k fun run will begin at the conclusion of the 5k race. All routes begin and end at Sartell City Hall. Wheelchair athletes are welcome, however no other wheels will be allowed in the 5k race. We will be using chip timing for the 5k race.

At the conclusion of the run/walk, participants and spectators are invited to join with friends and family at the Sartell Lion’s Community
Park (across from City Hall) for the award ceremony and to enjoy a free concert by the Sartell Community Band. Prizes will be
awarded to the top runners in each age class, as well as a prize for the top male runner and the top female runner overall.

Parking for the run, walk and concert is available at the Bernick’s Arena or at the Pine Meadow Elementary School.
Parking will be restricted at Sartell City Hall.

This event is made possible by the generous support of our race sponsor Interventional Pain & Physical Medicine Clinic (IPPMC) and
by Bernick’s Beverage and Vending. Their support and participation in the Sartell Mayor’s 5k run/walk is greatly appreciated.

Please make plans to join us.
